Plecos are peaceful and good-natured. As long as they have ample space and food, your plecos will get along well with many fish species. You can even house them in a big community tank.
With that said, plecos don’t tolerate other members of the same species. They tend to get territorial and aggressive with each other, so you should strive to keep just one pleco in a tank.
