Finding the perfect tank mates for pea puffers can be challenging. Pea puffers are territorial and highly aggressive. Moreover, they’re curious creatures as well. If their tank mates are too slow or too tempting, the pea puffers might attack them.
Choose tank mates that are similar in size and can defend themselves when needed. Also, avoid fish that are aggressive or territorial on their own right because housing them together with pea puffers will only result in conflicts.
