Cherry shrimp can live with the following fish:
- Fancy guppies
- Cardinal tetras
- Neon tetras
- Pygmy cory catfish
- Otocinclus
- Plecostomus
- Bettas
- Small rasboras
- Cherry barbs
- Dwarf gouramis
Cherry shrimp are easy-going and peaceful, so they can live with many fish species. However, their tiny stature makes them easy prey, so small and non-temperamental fish species that are unlikely to hurt or eat your cherry shrimp make the best tank mates.
Additionally, aside from fish, freshwater snails also make great tank mates for cherry shrimp. Mystery snails and nerite snails are popular choices, but ivory snails, gold Inca snails, and Malaysian trumpet snails are also great options.
