You can feed mystery snails various foods, including:
- Fish pellets and flakes
- Algae wafers
- Blanched vegetables, such as kale and spinach
- Sliced cucumber or zucchini
Feed your mystery snails once every day. Make sure to only give whatever amount they can eat within five minutes, or they won’t be able to finish everything and the excess food will pollute the water.
That said, your mystery snails will be more than happy to eat algae, biofilm, and leftover food from their tank mates.
Mystery snails will slowly search for patches of algae or vegetation in the tank, and once they find a suitable snacking spot, they’ll devour any available food before finding another food patch.
